  • 420€ (EUR) reg. registration fees for participants from institutions in High Income Countries (HIC),
  • 260€ (EUR) PhD-student-discount rate for registration fees for participants from institutions in High Income Countries (HIC),
  • 210€ (EUR) reg. registration fees for participants from institutions in Low and Medium Income Countries (LMIC) and
  • 130€ (EUR) PhD-student-discount rate for registration fees for participants from institutions in Low and Medium Income Countries (LMIC).

The fees for the symposium apply to all participants and include presentations and keynotes, conference programme, lunches, coffees and teas. Accommodation, conference dinner and travel expenses are not included.
The conference dinner can be booked additionaly as part of your registration. We will have our conference dinner at "Alte Meister" in the vicinity of Zwinger and Semper Opera.

Call for Abstracts

Abstracts should have of no more than 500 words.

They should refer to the following thematic strands:

  • Critical Landscape Phenomena:  habitat fragmentation, biodiversity loss, animal movement, landscape permeability, urban spatial networks, accessibility, gravitational approaches, scaling, spatial interactions
  • Digital Twins and Decision Making: AI-based spatial data aquisition and modelling, real time information, enrichment of building data, citizen science
    • Special Session on Spatial Research Data Infrastructure and Generative-AI
  • Urban Structure and Policy: Structures and dynamics of cities, trajectories of cities towards sustainability, causal inference, densification, suburbanization, interdisciplinary approaches to land policy, bridging quantitative and qualitative research 
    • Special Session on Urban Dynamics in Global South and Global North

Accepted abstracts (double blind review) will be presented as oral presentations and be published in the digital book of abstract.

Submission guideline

An abstract is a standalone text, which concisely summarises the key points of the paper and positions them in the scientific discourse. It should not, for example, be a summary of the introduction or conclusion and should also not include abbreviations or references.
